During the winter, the mountains of South Tyrol invite you to enjoy a great ski experience! The ski bus will pick you up only 100 metres from our front door and transport you into the Gitschberg / Jochtal skiing region with 44 km of family-friendly pistes. There are also numerous toboggan runs and ice rinks.

Our farmhouse is also close to the following ski regions: the Plose near Brixen/Bressanone has the longest down-hill run in South Tyrol and is only 40 minutes from the Hauserhof. If you are part of a group of more than 15 people, you can reserve an entire bus for yourselves. Around the same distance away you’ll find the Kronplatz/Plan de Corones – South Tyrol’s top ski region with more than 110 km of pistes. Another ski region can be found at the Ratschings/Racines Ski Resort. A little further away, you can enjoy the Val Gardena with the renowned Sella Ronda.



Cross-country fans will enjoy the Rodeneck/Rodengo Alm. The circular cross-country trail offers great panoramic views and there are a number of Alpine huts where you can rest and snack.

Snow-shoe & winter hiking: The Alpine meadows, as well as other forest paths are suitable for outdoor winter and snow-shoe hiking. Breathe in the fresh mountain air, relax and enjoy your holiday.
