The strong northerly current weakens somewhat, but remains dominant.
In the morning sunny weather, in the second half of the day a some clouds will pass through from the north and towards evening possibility of light snowfall on the western main alpine crest.
The Alps are situated south of a high pressure system centred over the British Isles. A small low pressure system passes through in the evening with north-easterly upper level flow.
Good conditions on the mountains. The wind continues to decrease and it will be mostly sunny, occasionally a some clouds pass through above the peaks. Possibility of very light and local snowfall in the evening.
